Duality
Good and evil, beauty and the beast, angels and demons are subjects which has always preoccupied the human mind.
It is said that a person can act like an angel or live like a monster. Is this the inner conflict of mankind whose nature and world is based on duality and paradox? How can it be a conflict when according to our mythologies our substance is shaped by both darkness and light?
Or is it just a question of restoring equilibrium?
How can humanity embrace the long forgotten angelic beauty of wisdom and tenderness in this world of monstrous greed, ignorance, and bigotry?
Have demons overcome the angels? Has heaven lost the battle?
According to ancient Persian mythologies there are two contradictory forces of good (Sepenta Mainyu-vestige of light) and evil (Angra Mainyu- Vestige of
darkness) in the universe which are struggling with each other. Is it in the human mind that these forces appear to be of conflicting nature; which by the integrity of the creation by the Supreme Being, the existence of both is inevitable, and complementary? Is it up to mankind to alter the universe by her/his notion and deed? Or will this meddling and interference with the nature of life, cause
unbalance and destruction?
